Lumina distributes original films created with the help of artificial intelligence. We believe in transparency about how that work is made, and in protecting the rights of the creators who make it.
01Creators keep their IP
Filmmakers and studios retain ownership of their films. Lumina receives only the distribution and exhibition rights expressly granted in a written distribution agreement.
02Originality & rights warranties
Creators represent that their submitted works are original, that they hold the necessary rights, and that the works do not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
03AI transparency
We support clear disclosure that featured works are created using AI tools. Where required, including under frameworks such as the EU AI Act's transparency provisions and U.S. FTC guidance on AI-generated content, appropriate labeling and disclosures will accompany the works.
04Responsible content
We do not knowingly distribute works that misappropriate a real person's likeness or voice without authorization, that are deceptive, or that violate applicable law. Creators are responsible for the rights and clearances behind their content.
05Reporting concerns
If you believe a work infringes your rights, contact our legal desk via the Contact page (Legal / Rights Clearance), and we will review the matter promptly.
