Making a film and showing a film are two different worlds. Traditional distribution wasn't built for these creators. It was built to take a majority of the box office and keep the gates closed. Meanwhile, thousands of independent cinemas have dark screens and rising costs, hungry for fresh, affordable programming that brings their communities back through the doors.
Lumina stands in that gap. We license original films from AI filmmakers and studios, and we program them onto real theatrical screens: physical screenings, festival nights, special events, all for one flat, simple subscription. The creator keeps their IP and earns a fair share. The cinema fills its seats. The audience gets something they've never seen before.
